Who we are
WishDock is provided by JaysApps. This policy applies to the WishDock application, its websites, and related services. Product questions can be sent to [email protected].
Information we process
Depending on the features you use, WishDock may process your Sign in with Apple identifier, name, email address, optional profile photo, wishlists, product links, notes, preferences, family and sharing relationships, gift profiles, gift activity, notification preferences, and push-notification device tokens. We may also process technical request information such as IP address, device type, browser type, and service logs for operation, security, and troubleshooting.
If you use guest gifting, WishDock may process an optional guest name, reserved quantity, purchase status, expiration time, and a protected management-token hash.
Device permissions
WishDock may request access to Contacts, Notifications, Camera, Photos, Face ID, and Calendar features when needed. Contact names and phone numbers used to prepare an invitation remain on your device and are not uploaded as an address book. Camera data is used for scans you initiate. Calendar access is used only for occasions you choose to add. You can change permissions in system settings.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, synchronize lists, import product details, provide sharing and gift coordination, send invitations and notifications you request, monitor product information when enabled, prevent abuse, support users, diagnose failures, and protect WishDock.
Diagnostics
WishDock uses Apple MetricKit and system logging to detect crashes and important failures. Diagnostic records use a random installation identifier and limited technical details such as app version, operating-system version, device family, component, and error category. They are designed not to include wishlist content, private notes, passwords, payment details, or authentication tokens. You can export the local diagnostic summary from Profile and choose whether to share it.
Sharing and visibility
Lists are private unless you choose another visibility. Family and selected-person lists are available to the people you authorize. Anyone who receives an active public-list link may view that list. Gift reservations and purchase activity are designed to remain hidden from the wishlist recipient. Avoid placing sensitive personal information in public lists or buyer-facing notes.
Service providers
WishDock uses service providers to operate the app, including Apple for platform services and sign-in, Supabase for authentication and application data, and Cloudflare for website delivery and public wishlist pages. Product-information providers may process a product URL when you ask WishDock to import or refresh product details. Providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.
Retention and deletion
Account information and synchronized content are retained while your account is active or as needed to provide WishDock. You can update or delete individual content in the app and can request permanent account deletion through WishDock's account controls or by contacting support. Limited backups, fraud-prevention records, and security logs may remain temporarily where needed for reliability, legal compliance, or protection of the service.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information processed. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Keep private sharing links and guest reservation management links confidential.
Children
WishDock is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review and address it.
International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use the protections offered by our providers and applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as WishDock changes. We will publish the revised policy here and update its effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or through another appropriate channel.
